Workplace healthcare was built for big companies. We're building it for everyone else.

Workplace GP gives small and growing businesses a simpler way to support employee health, with fast access to GPs, specialists, mental health support and clinician-led health education.

For a growing business, giving your team a health benefit they actually use should be simple. Too often, it isn't.

The workplace healthcare market has become crowded and complicated.

A large organisation with a dedicated benefits team can navigate the options. For a small or growing business, it quickly becomes another job for a founder or manager who already has plenty of them.

We believe every employee should have fast access to trusted clinicians, no matter the size of the organisation they work for. Workplace GP brings online consultations, access to specialist support and health education together, from £4 per employee per month.

The choice most small businesses face

For many larger employers, private medical insurance (PMI) remains the most comprehensive workplace healthcare benefit.

But for many small and growing businesses, providing that level of cover across a whole workforce is hard to justify. PMI can cost £1,000 or more per employee each year, depending on the age of your team, where you are and the level of cover.

It's not just the initial cost. In 2025, the industry consensus was that group PMI premiums had risen by around 20% at renewal. That makes it difficult for a growing business to predict what comprehensive cover will cost, not just this year but in the years ahead.

At the other end of the market are lower-cost benefits: cash plans, helplines, apps and standalone services. As businesses add more of them, they end up with a collection of separate benefits that are harder to manage, and harder for employees to navigate.

The real gap is after the GP

Take online GP access. It’s increasingly offered as an extra, bundled into premium bank accounts, life insurance policies and other memberships.

Those consultations can be valuable. But access to a GP is only part of the picture. If an employee needs specialist advice, tests or further support, what happens next?

Too often, a standalone service ends with a referral letter. The employee is still left to work out who to see, where to go, what it will cost and how to book.

So the real question for an employer isn't "what can we afford to insure?" It's "when one of our people needs a specialist, how quickly can they see one?"

Picture someone in your team. They've had symptoms for weeks, finally see their NHS GP, and are told they need to see a specialist. The referral goes in, and the wait begins. They keep coming to work, but they're distracted, worried and searching their symptoms at midnight.

In a team of fifteen, that isn't just a health problem. It's a business one.

    Putting clinicians at the centre

Workplace GP brings together online primary care, a faster route to private specialists and clinician-led health masterclasses in one straightforward employee benefit. Our Essentials and Premium plans also include 24/7 mental health support as standard.

For employers, it's one fixed price per person, with no increases based on usage. For employees, it's a connected route to care, delivered by established healthcare partners and qualified clinicians.

It starts with a GP, whenever you need one

Every Workplace GP member can book online GP and clinician appointments through our partnership with Doctor Care Anywhere. Appointments are available 24/7, 365 days a year, and clinicians can prescribe, make referrals and issue fit notes where clinically appropriate.

A faster route to specialist care

When an employee needs specialist expertise, they shouldn't be left with a referral letter and a search engine. Through our partnership with Get Well Soon, members can use their GP referral to book appointments with private consultants across more than 15 specialties throughout the UK.

Get Well Soon matches members to the right consultant, often with an appointment the same week. They choose a time and place that suits them, with access to tests, scans and second opinions where needed.

Employees pay for their own consultant care, at a reduced rate for the initial consultation. Tests and any treatment are at standard self-pay prices. Your cost as an employer stays fixed.

Mental health support, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year

Our Essentials and Premium plans include an employee assistance programme (EAP), delivered by PAM Wellness. Employees get a confidential 24/7, 365-day helpline to speak to trained counsellors. When further support is needed, structured counselling is available at no extra cost, delivered online, via phone, or face-to-face.

    Preventative health, led by clinicians

Every Workplace GP Health Masterclass is led by a clinician and designed to build understanding of medical conditions, prevention, screening, risk factors and the role lifestyle can play in long-term health. That could mean a urologist discussing prostate and men's health, or a menopause specialist talking through symptoms and treatment options.

Over time, these sessions will build into a library of trusted, clinician-led health content for Workplace GP members.

    Built for growing businesses

Workplace healthcare doesn't need another layer of complexity. It needs connected, faster routes to care. That's what we're building.
